Call for Submission

Rules and Regulations

​

  1. Only Work Permit/ Special Pass holders are eligible

  2. Each participant can submit 1 poem in any language

  3. Only original works will be considered

  4. Last date for submission: 24th September 2023 (11:59 PM)

  5. Judges will shortlist entries by 29th October 2023 

  6. 26th November 2023: Recital by finalists, Final judging and results announcement

  7. Submission to be sent by email (sgmigrantpoetry@gmail.com)

  8. Please indicate your name, nationality, mobile number and work permit/ S Pass number in the submission email

  9. Entrants retain the copyright, the organizer retains the rights to publish and distribute any submitted poem and their translations

  10. Winners (1st prize only) from 2014 – 2022 are not allowed to submit 

 

Prizes for the contest

  • 1st Prize: SGD 1000

  • 2nd Prize: SGD 500

  • 3rd Prize: SGD 300

  • Consolation prizes; trophies and certificates

  • Best entries will be considered for publication
